I have a toad that likes to come in into my greenhouse, for a couple of
years he have lived there the whole summer. I have built a little
toad-house for him because he was so annoyed when i had to work in the
greenhouse. I dont know what he lives of, but I have never seen any
slugs there.
Solution on your problem : build a toadhouse and get some toads.
