We do have voles here. I have never had a problem, but I know people who
have. However, do voles have scuba gear? The iris are in an area with a
very high water table. It's true that the ones that disappeared were in a
place that the water level was actually under the mud, but not by very
much. I didn't think burrowing things like voles (and moles) wanted to have
anything to do with
water, and they are too small to sit on the bridge and reach the plants.
