It's all just a matter of degree. You can use household
bleach every spring to clean your plastic pots and such and
you'll never die from it. Don't swallow a bottle full, though!
Likewise with Roundup, and some other diluted herbicides. Simply
using it as directed doesn't present a health risk (in 7 years
or 70); but putting it in your mouth is not a good idea.
