I have friends in Hawaii who I sent some Louisiana irises to...and they
apparently lived and grew...but I did not bloom. If you want to try some,
one nursery that has a fairly extensive catalogue is Lone Star Iris Gardens,
5637 Saddleback Rd, Garland, TX 75043. Their catalogue is $2.00. Farron
Campbell whose nursery it is, is very knowledgeable and in fact gave an
excellent Judges Training Program on LA irises at the AIS Convention in York
last year. Clarence Mahan in Virginia.
