In one bed I plant daffodils between the irises, and have blooms before the
irises.  In the beds that are raised, we sometimes plant nasturtiums on the
edges, and they hang down the sides of the beds when in bloom.  In GA I saw
some lovely effects with johnny jump ups and also with pinks along the edges.
