But even if it LOOKS that bad -- like it's only worth a one-way trip to the
compost heap -- DON'T toss it until you've seen its offspring.  I have yet to
see a non-aril X tet aril seedling with a significant number of aril flower
traits, but the magic often comes through in the next generation.
