Hello,
My name is Julie Irwin, I live in Pekin, IL. I am a region 9 AIS
member, and I also belong to the Reblooming Iris Society. Last year I
started training to become a student judge, I need 3 more hours to reach
my goal. I am also attending Master Gardener classes being offered by
our local Illinois Extension Service... I graduate April 22, 1996.
I have always loved iris and started collecting iris about 10 years ago.
About 4 years ago I joined AIS and RIS. I love rebloomers and
space-agers! The majority of my iris collection are rebloomers...all do
not consistently rebloom, but at least they try in zone 5. Have tried
some hybridizing and have a few seedlings that I hope to see maiden
bloom on this spring!
