Regarding the suggestions from Clarence Mahan and others on potting
newly received "big fat west coast" rhizomes.
Received the 1996 Schreiner catalogue yesterday and guess what is on the
back cover! Go on, guess! Okay, for those of you that haven't yet
received this item, it's "How to pot iris"!
It's not written in regards to loss prevention, but interesting to see it
in such a prominent position (back outside cover).
Thanks to those that have replied to my requests for suggestions on how
to improve the over-winter survivability of iris from "the west coast".
