Re: Catalogs and Native Irises-We-Du


I'm with Anner on We-Du Nursery.  They are one of my all time favorites and
have stuff for the woodland garden you can't find anywhere else, since the
Montrose Nursery went out of business.  And yes, their plants usually are
small but worth nursing along for the extra season or two it takes.  It was
news to me that the place has recently been sold.  Perhaps that accounts
for the lateness of their catalog this year (I have not got mine yet, has
anyone else?)

Not sure that I mentioned it earlier, but the Arrowhead Alpines catalog of
plants (rather than seeds, a separate list) has over 60 iris listings,
mostly species.
