Mary,
I have not seen any discussion in roots regarding the terms "Classic"
and "Antique." They use the term "Historic" to mean any Iris that was
introduced thirty or more years ago. Unless you can find someone locally
who can identify your unknown Irises, I would suggest that you turn to Phil
Edinger. In fact, if you have any photos of the Irises in question, you
could send them in now before he gets swamped by those taking pictures this
coming season.
