I've been surprised not to see a particular rebloomer that I think is superb
mentioned on this list--Monty Byer's PINKNESS. I've had it for maybe five
years, and it's bloomed okay in the spring, but I didn't focus on it, not
being that fond of pinks in general. But it bloomed for the first time in the
fall last October, and it kept on for two weeks. This was a huge clump with
eight stalks up at peak, and the color was fabulous! It's a clear, bright
pink, slightly ruffled, and fragrant. And the foliage is somehow just the
perfect shade of green to go with that pink. Just delightful.
Anybody else growing it?
Barb, in Santa Fe, with a few bright spots in between the snow showers.
