O.K. I wasn't going to burden the list with the details, but I think I can
interpret this as permission....
I found it in Paper Direct's "Great Meetings & Presentations" catalog. To get a
copy of their catalog, call 1-800-A-PAPERS (if you like cutesy #'s) or
1-800-272-7377 (if you're old-fashioned, like me). They ship Federal Express,
for next day delivery.
The cabinet itself is described as furniture-grade 3/4" wood melamine, so it's
oak-look laminate rather than true oak or oak-painted metal -- but it looks as
good as the computer desks and is a LOT better than piles of paper everywhere.
It's pretty heavy. The deliveryman said each of the two boxes it cam in was
supposed to weigh only 65 pounds, but they seemed heavier than that to him --
and I had to agree. I finally unpacked it in the entryway and carried it
upstairs a few pieces at a time, then assembled it in place. But it was well
worth it -- and assembly required only a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer.
Each cubbyhole is 3" high, 9" wide and 12" deep. The whole thing is 40" wide,
12 1/2" deep and comes in three heights.
The 24-compartment version is $199.95, and 23" high.
The 36-compartment version is $249.95, and 33" high.
The 60-compartment version is $369.95, and 54 1/2" high.
You guess it. I went for the BIG one! Not full yet, but we'll see how well it
holds up through bloom season!
