Re: arilbred culture / "autosyndetica" (again)

<< There is a picture on the inside of the back cover of the AIS 75th
Anniversary Special Bulletin issue that is labeled only as "Oncogeliabred
1/2 Aril (A)" that I have assumed, perhaps incorrectly, to be a product of
Howard Shockey's breeding lines. It is what I consider a very intriguing
combination of regelia-influenced standards with onco-influenced falls.

Does anyone know any more about this seedling and its origin and whether it
 has been/will be introduced? >>

I believe that the iris in question has been introduced as ENERGIZER (Shockey
96). I think the photo angle is a little deceptive and that the standards
are (as I remember) quite typical of a modern oncoform halfbred. The signal,
by the way, is the biggest and boldest of all Howard's arilbreds.
