Printing Digital Photos

I found that Casio has a QG-100 printer that prints images from their
digital camera. It is a dye sub printer and costs $199.00. Problem is
the prints are only 1 3/4 X 1 1/2 inches.

However in May they are introducing the following.

The DP-8000, Print anytime, anywhere

use as a complete photo processing center. The printer produces a 3.23

QV Digital Cameras. With a 149 x 149 dpi

The DP-8000 offers a simple processing system with a choice of two

Don't know the printer cost yet, or the cost of the paper (remember
razors and razorblades..). This isn't good enough for a catalog (I don't
think) but may be pretty good for snapshots.

Dennis S, is Kodak in this game at all?
