I'm not sure who wrote this but I agree. I probably have as little time or even
less time than many people on this list, but I don't begrudge the off topic
conversation. I weed through and pick out the topics that look pertinent
immediately, read the most current mail with the time I have and save all the
rest to a floppy to read when I have more time.
We are people, not machines, we have personalities which include more than just
Iris, and these personalities come out in our conversations.
In fact I am seeing more time being spent on complaining about the amount of
mail that comes through than anything else lately! There are quite a few more
people on this list than when I first came on line, so of course there will be
more mail!
