Re: Early Bloom

Dear Rick:  Thanks for your reply.  The difference here is , probably, that
we have had lots of frosts and some hard freezes. I am surprised that the
stalks have grown during such cold spells. There are TWO stalks of MATRIX;
the second is of equal height, (short for the variety) , but not open. The
first stalk opened a gorgeous, normal bloom and it has lasted since Monday-
it is now Friday.  The first dwarf opened yesterday. We are hoping not to get
a winter act of revenge. It is middle daffodil season, many flowering trees
are past bloom.  LLOYD.
