Along with a welcome to the list (which, by the way, I like the way
it is, too, despite an occasional irritation solved by the delete
key), a bit about moles. Since they are after grubs, not the roots
of your plants which they nonetheless destroy, work on getting rid of
the grubs. There are some good organic controls, such as beneficial
nematodes or, for some grubs, Milky Spore disease, which do the job,
and these things are not poisonous. Organic garden supply companies
sell them. I can give a name and address of a good one, if you have
none yourself.
