Reblooming I.setosa

Hi Gang:
On Sat. Mar. 15 I spoke with Claude & Joanne Derr about the I. setosa
seed that they had sent to SIGNA in '93. Joanne indicated to me that the
plants from which she collected the seed came from seed she had received
from SIGNA 3 or 4 years previously. They had a long row of these plants
in the garden and the plants flowered at approximately the same time as
the TB's. They indicated that after the initial bloom the plants were
qiescent for about 2 weeks and then bloomed almost continuously through
July. Claude & Joanne weren't sure (as we discussed the situation)
whether this could be considered as rebloom or "Repeat" bloom as Dr.
McEwen describes his siberians.

I don't remember the name of the nursery or the varietal name given to
the plant but I would like to know whether or not it has been registered
with AIS.
