I found some 'extras' in packing material nine months after
receiving an order. I planted them in pots and put them in the shade.
The tiny rhizomes perished, but the big ones took off - greening up almost
overnight. One even bloomed in the pot about two months later. What is
even more remarkable, they were stored in a metal storage building with no
heat over the winter!
