If you have a laser printer, you can get weatherproof vinyl labels from
Horticultural Printers in Dallas (1-800-433-8247). Labels then can be
put on any of the various common metal markers, or whatever type wood
stake, etc. that you use. Labels comes in various sizes (1.33" x 1";
2.5" x 1.25"; 2.66" x 1.66", and uncut 8.5 x 11 sheets) and are on page
45 of their current catalog.
