Some of you will have received a catalogue from A.M.Leonard (Sensible Tools
for the Serious Gardener)(guess that leaves me out!) which is located in
Piqua, Ohio, home of the annual Hosta College. In the catalogue are several
choices for plant labels such as wired ply labels, computer labels, T Stakes
and an interesting idea --
Dymo Labeling System "The only model made to emboss on metal or vinyl -- does
its own punching and cutting, too. Imprint letters, numbers on 1/2" metal
or colored vinyl tape. The machine itself is $222.16, and the aluminum 16ft
roll non-adhesive is $3.57, while the adhesive 16ft roll is $7.40, and
non-adhesive stainless steel, 21ft is $6.10.
They also offer several pens, among them the Sharpie at $1.59, not as CHEEP
as at Paper Cutter
