I am tired just thinking about trenching two acres two feet deep and
putting wire in the ground.   I think I will continue to plant irises in
planter beds with the wire on the bottom. 

I liked your last suggestion about the shotgun.  I'm afraid I would be
sitting there waiting for him and when his head appeared it would scare
me so much, the gun would go off and who knows where the pellets would
fly.
