Re: CULT: Vole damage to Siberians

I've had several clumps of siberians destroyed from beneath by voles. They
sprout normally but then stop at about 4" in height. The plants can be
easily lifted from the ground with a slight tug. Roots and lower surfaces
of rhizomes all chewed away, with obvious vole burrows giving access. This
has only happened once, so far, during a winter with unusually deep and
prolonged snow cover.
