The deer have never eaten my iris although they do a great job on the
nearby rhodies, pine and azaelas. Which leads me to the question --
how low do you cut the foliage at the end of the season. I've been
cutting them to within 6 inches of the ground --TBS and SIBS. leaf
eating seems to take place in the summer -- slugs?
