Hi Nancy,
What type of wire do I use for the irises beds? We use a multi purpose
mesh put out by Red Brand. The holes are very small so only the root
system from the irises can get through. It has worked very well for us.
The mesh is two feet wide therefore our beds are two feet wide with
different lengths.
There is plenty of room for the irises to grow and is so much cleaner.
The irises also look nicer in the area we have the beds.
I'm sure this would work for your Sibs. You might have to dig your hold
a little deeper if you need more depth.
