The Dawson County Iris Society met Monday evening. (We are the
struggling few who won't give up...) I gave a program on "Iris on the
Internet" and received enthusiastic reviews. A good portion of my
presentation centered on IRIS-L and Tom's wonderful web pages. I also
explained how some gardens have their catalogs on-line, and passed around
a sample of the new Aitken's Salmon Creek Garden web pages... saw lots of
eyes light up! I brought up some of the ideas discussed here on club
promotion and I think energized the group.
KUDOS to all of you for providing more than enough material for a
worthy program topic!! All asked me to share more of the IRIS-L "news"
at the next meeting.
On the topic of dwarfs... a late thank you to those of you who
responded with comments regarding the hardiness of this group. I
appreciate the advise.
