CD - Up to 100 pictures per disk - expensive - .99 to $2.00 per picture
to have them scanned.
Disk - depends on dpi of image - format - not as expensive, but maybe
1-4 pictures per disk (compressed).
You need to decide what you are going to use these images for. That
will help you decide which way to go. If you want the cheapest way to
put on Photo CD - have your slides or negative film processed and left
into long strips (slides not mounted)
Also - find a good dealer who will at least get the dust off BEFORE
scanning. You will also need a good software package like Photoshop to
edit the images.
