Poast is toxic to all plants of the grass family, including grain plants
like wheat, oats, and corn. I have used it to kill weedy grasses in mixed
borders where I grow ornamental grasses as well as other plants. Before
spraying I carefully and thoroughly cover up these ornamental grasses so
they won't be killed. Lawn grasses would also definitely be killed or
damaged if sprayed with Poast.
