Hi Sylvia!
You ask:
> where can you get "Blue Eyed Blonde"?
Aitken's Salmon Creek Gardens, Willow Bend Gardens, Miller's Manor Gardens,
Paul Black's Mid-America Gardens, Lowell Baumunk are all offering BEB this
year. In fact, just about any commercial garden with an IB listing probably
carries it.
When I divided BEB last summer, I gave a start to each of my Cub Scouts
(there was plenty to go around and more to spare). I asked each of them to
look at it closely when it blooms and tell me why it is a "Cub Scout" iris
(because its blue and yellow and smaller than the full size kind). Got to
get them started right while they're still young!
