Books

My question is to people like Tom and Sharon interested in desert
irises.  I have xerox copies of the 1977 booklet "Tulips and Irises of
Iran and their Relatives".  This has some of the finest, large
photographs of irises that I have seen.  I have tried to get the
original from Iran without success.  Does anyone know whether these
pictures were published in colour?  If so, I will renew my efforts and
approach the Iranians more forcefully!

Ian, in Ottawa where it is above freezing and one has the feeling that,
as in previous years, spring will arrive sometime and plants will
reappear!
