OT-CHAT: VANDALS

     Thinking of the subject of vandals (Iris Nightmare), it is often easy
to blame this type of problem on juveniles.  Although some are guilty of
this type of activity, most are not.  Also, some vandals happen to be
adults.  I had this problem on a limited basis in Lexington.  The kids
would ask for permission to remove flower stems of any kind.  [Permission
was always granted except the week before a show.]  A few adults would grab
and run.  Again, this was a limited and rare problem.  
     If you catch the culprit, deal with them strongly no matter who they
are.
