	I have found in the extreme colder climates (like Jeff's and mine),
	that the vigor and size of the division planted is the determining
	factor as well as the individual cultivar. 'Snow Queen', of which
	Jeff writes, is described in the Siberian checklist as being collected
	in Japan in 1900 by Peter Barr and "re White form of I. sanguinea".
	Being a species iris, it might take more time to establish itself.
	Just guessing since I don't have it. :-(
