If I might add a word of advice to those interested in making an alfalfa
tea: Don't let it stand for more than a couple of days. The smell alone
will knock you on your....(paues for college student exercising
restraint) rear-end. Seriously, it is not advised. The mix that we use
is never exact, but we eye-ball about 1\3 of a five gallon pail full and
then top it off with water and stir. My mother makes me pour it on
strait out of the bucket, no cans to plug up.
