Eva, my sister has a fish pond under the drip line of a huge black walnut.
She has had no problems with the walnut killing her goldfish, moquito fish or
water lillies. She only has to worry about the big white egret that tries to
eat her fish.
Apparently he is not bothered by black walnuts either.
