Thanks to Jan Clark for being my first correspondent on the list.
Boy I am so new to all this but loving it. A 48 y.o. grandmother
on the net. One who has been growing iris for over 30 years and is now
discovering she's not too old to learn how to use this contraption.
I live in Red Cliffs, Victoria, Australia. The Victorian Region of
the Iris Society of Australia announce the 1998 Sunraysia Iris Convention
registration brochures are now available from Dianne Dalla Santa email

This will be a unique experience in a beautiful rural location in
country Victoria. Private iris gardens, municipal parks, David Rustons
world class rose and iris garden in Renmark, speakers, demonstrations,
national parks, wineries and more. 20th-27th October1998. It is also our
50th anniverary and we are celebrating.
In my own garden I grow majority Tall Bearded, some Spuria and a few specie
iris. Our climate allows us to grow irises and roses beautifully. No
freeze here, no snow here, not even a borer to be seen. Just fabulous iris.
