It is spring in the North Okanagan Valley!
Yesterday - MAR 16 I. danfordiae began to bloom its pretty little head
off. It seems like only last week that we saw the last of the
rebloomers.
This has been about the 3rd earliest spring in the past twenty years
here and if history repeats, we will not expect much in the way of
serious frost from here on.
I have a question. I have not paid much attention to the species and I
am wondering what you would suggest that I try to fill the gap between
now and the first MDBs which will probably be a month from now?
