This list is starting to get depressing. Over here we have to wait months
yet until the reticulatas start flowering....... and I've just bought my
first winter aconite and I'm looking forward to it flowering for the first
time this year. Siiiigh!!!

Today my Moraea Polystachis opened (Autumn flowering bulbous Moraea), and
the Colchicum Byzantium and Aggripinum have just finished. The Zephranthes
Candida and Sternbergia Lutea are in full flower and the black arum lily
(Arum Palestinium) has just started to surface. The Cyclamen Hederifolia
is flowering and the Cyclamen coum has its little leaves just surfacing.
Carnations are in flower, Chrysanthemums are starting to bloom and the
Canna Lilies are in full flower. I've finally started installing the
irrigation system (lots and lots of drippers and microsprays) so that we
don't have to waste as much water. Today we got to around 32'C (90'F I
think) and tomorrow we're due for 35'C (95'F).

The garden is colourfull, but its still not the same as spring.
