Jan -- WABASH is a tetraploid; I think EXTRAVAGANZA is, and I don't know
about TICONDEROGA. So, I think ELIZABETH NOBLE is a tet. If you cross it
with CREATIVE STITCHERY, you should get a variety of colors and
patterns, but be prepared for lots of paddle-shaped and/or droopy falls.
Still, you may also get some close-to-modern forms, but with little
ruffling and with falls whose hafts are not close together. (I take it
you have already made this cross.) If you're looking for modern form,
take the best of your seedlings and cross them with very recent
introductions that have the color and form you're looking for. Then
cross the resulting cousins.
