Regarding garden markers:=20
I purchased the Paw Paw rose marker (10" stake), and applied the label =
made from the Brother P-Touch 10, 4 years ago. It was quite an =
investment at the time ($.60 each) for over 1000 plants, BUT I've not =
had to touch them since. I defy you to remove the name, etc. that =
you've placed on the metal tag, and the info is just as clear as the day =
i put it on. Everyone admires the labeling because it so readable.

I know that your initial request was for a labels was for an inexpensive
means, but I bought a Brother label making device, and used it for the =
first
time last summer, my labels haven't noticeably faded, and the adhesive =
is
still keeping them affixed to the metal markers.
I've tried these new "Sharpie" super-ultra permanent markers and they =
have
all faded on all my metal markers in one-year's time. Only because I =
also
wrote the variety name on the back (shaded) side of the label do I still
know what I've got there.
