A few days ago we had a brief flurry of activity here about MTBs, Miniature
Tall Bearded Irises, those perfectly proportioned smaller versions of the TBs
that are also known as Table Irises because they do so well in flower
arrangements. I've since noticed in catalogs that both Lowell Baumunk and
Winterberry Gardens have real nice selections of MTBs this year. Lowell's is
exceptionally rich and varied and Winterberry has a lot of nice little
historics as well as modern things.
