I concur. althought the plants I have gotten from them over the years have
been excellent, if rather pricey, the catalog copy drives me absolutely up the
wall. Nor am I alone in this. For a hilarious and all too true discussion of
the "styles" of various catalogs read the essay "Made Wild by Pompous
Catalogs" in the excellent book by Michael Pollan, SECOND NATURE. I know, I
know, I've mentioned this book before, but you really must read it if you have
not.
