RE: SHOGUN photo/ Thalo blue

oooooh - Christy - know its probably touched-up, know its advertising
puffery, but it is soooooo beautiful!

Well, I'm probably gonna be kicked off the list -
I've always believed the color and form of iris would appeal to more people
than a printed name in a catalog. Lets face it, you have to really be 'in'
irises to understand the name and its heritage and know its color. You've
gotta admit, whatever else you feel about them, Springhill has the colored
catalog business down to a T.

So this is for any irisers selling iris - if you have good close-up
pictures of iris you have in good supply - contact me. I'm putting
together an on-line catalog, hadn't ever thought it would be for more than
my own if and when I raise them, but so many really wonderful
iris are out there that just don't get the exposure the big suppliers can
muster.
