Ok mixed up last assignment with something else.  All the seedlings from
the first cross although blue still carry the white gene but if your space
is limited you might not have room to use them.  Now cross two and cross
three have given you white seedlings but which might be harboring the blue
gene and which are homozygous for white if your space is limited you want
to know so as to narrow the field down for your backcrosses.  The two white
iris with a hint of blue might have been blue with a gene for inhibiting
the expression of the color as in palomino or dun horses and this although
seeming recessive can suddenly have a dominate expression so crossing the
best of the whites from cross 2 and 3 with the best of the blues from cross
one should get you in the direction you want to go perhaps just a thought.
