I went to the county extension office yesterday to look up offerings of
seed for iris. The only listings I found were for bulbs. At a later date I
will look again but suspect that the "species" group will be your best bet.
You are going into your autumn so now would be an excellant time to
receive seed , I'll advise that you join the "Signa" and get your request in
early for next year. Isn't it awful to be reminded just like when we were 5
that sometimes we have to wait!
Perhaps there is someone now on line who has stored seed away for future
planting who will share their stash. Heaven only knows !
