In appearance, yes.
Genetically, no.

I've had the best results using
bicolors, plicatas, bicolor-plicatas, =
and glaciatas. They are more apt
to allow the aril traits to show through.

That depends on your goals. Some
like to mix up the genes to see what
happens. I also like to reverse-
engineer my breeding stock to
improve the chances of getting what
I want.
