Hello listers!
As a birthday present to me, Chinese Empress is in bloom this morning and it is gorgeous!
Anner, the texture on the falls is like nothing I've ever seen before (which isn't
saying *that* much, but still...) Anyway, for those of you who aren't familiar with
this flower, it's got icy blue standards, dark purple falls, and there's hints of
brown on the stylearms and inside midribs of the standards. it also smells great!
Mom went outside with me just a few minutes ago and said it had "almost perfect"
branching... I could ramble on and on or just say
"guess who has a new favorite flower,"
