Hello, fellow iris-listers.
I just wanted to give a quick update on Chinese Empress...the high winds today tore
the flower up a little bit; thankfully I already took 2 photos of it this morning,
then we had a hailstorm, so now it is an "inside" iris. So is Batik, which will
bloom in the morning.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday, both on- and off-list.
I have one small correction to my post this morning, though...it was 7:24 pm, so
I was 20 minutes off, but my mind was on other things, specifically the first bloom
of the year for me!
Anyway, thanks again for all your kind comments, and I'll keep all of y'all posted
on how bloom season progresses...
