Ginny,
I don't really know how to answer that. If the snow cover is deep
and reliable in the winter, and your summer temperatures are
consistently 20 C or higher, the pseudacorus would have a chance. I do
know that Iris pseudacorus can be grown in Finland. The Spurias
probably need more heat than your climate would give. If anyone in Zone
3 grows these plants, input is desired.
