Hello folks,
Well, after a loooong spell of warm weather there is lots of lush
healthy growth on the irises, a couple with buds out of the fans
and more with buds apparent in the fans. Now, as expected the
temps are currently predicted to drop to lows of 27 tonight and
tomorrow before warming up. C'est la vie! At least in these parts.
For the first time ever I'm going to try to cover some, but wonder
if I'll be able to anchor anything down since it is also predicted
to be windy. I have an old Army/Navy surplus parachute in the
barn. Think I'll shake the mice out and see if I can use that
along with some boxes, buckets etc. I may end up doing more
damage if the wind flips the things around, but am going to try
anyway.
