Anyone wanting to reach irisarians would find this to be a good buy. Some
years ago I did mailings based on membership of another organization. The
list was freely available in a membership directory (we were once so
innocent), but your time in typing it into a db program more then made up
for the cost, and of course the directory was year old info when it came
out. The real mistake is to reuse such a list a year later since you've
typed the info in. I made that mistake and got 50 percent of a 5,000 piece
mailing returned as undeliverable, which of course you pay bulk rate going
out and first class postage to get back.
Given the mobility of our population, changing zip codes etc., any
commercial grower would find the purchase of one-time use of pre-printed
labels well worth the cost.
